Join me for a four day intensive bow building workshop and learn how to make your own self bow from a premium stave of Osage. You will learn the entire process from chasing a ring on a raw stave to shooting a finished bow. We will also cover topics such as selecting, harvesting and seasoning bow wood, various bow designs, matching arrows to your bow, etc.

This event will be held at my home workshop in Lexington, NC

The course will be four full days starting at 9am on Thursday

There are hotels within a short distance of my shop. I will be happy to give recommendations if needed. In addition there is room for tents and RVs to be set up in the backyard.

The cost includes a seasoned, premium stave of Osage for each person to build their bow with.

A full, hearty lunch, snacks and drinks will be provided each day. Please plan for your own breakfasts and dinners.

The class will be limited to 4 total students so that I can focus on giving individualized, hands on, quality guidance

All the necessary tools will be provided.

I will help you select and order any tools that you wish to acquire for your own bow making endeavors and have them ready for you to use at the class if you wish. I will also help you select and order the right arrows for your draw length and weight and have them ready for the class if you need something to shoot out of your new bow.

In addition to the hands-on instruction during the workshop you may contact me any time in the future to ask for help or guidance on future projects. I’ll be happy to answer questions and help any way I can.

The cost of the workshop is $1800
