I currently live in Portland, Oregon where I am a husband, a father of two and a Montessori teacher, in addition to being a bowyer. I am passionate about the art of bowmaking, traditional archery and bow hunting. I love to share my knowledge and enthusiasm with others whether I am shooting with them at the range, making a bow for them or teaching them how to do it themselves. I am always striving to learn more and improve my skills. I am blessed with friends and mentors who have taught me what I know and shared the journey with me. The community of primitive and traditional archery is close knit and supportive. I have often made good friends with people who first started off as a customer. I take great pride in my work, and I strive to make every bow the best that it can be. Every bow that I make carries a piece of me in it.
